What is a climbing frame?
Climbing frame is a large external scaffold that is erected at a certain height and attached to the engineering structure. It relies on its own lifting equipment and devices to climb or descend layer by layer with the engineering structure. It has anti overturning and anti falling devices.
What is the basic principle of form traveler construction?
The core principle is "balanced cantilever construction". Starting from block 0 at the top of the bridge pier, the hanging basket is symmetrically installed on both sides. After completing the concrete pouring of a section (usually 3-5 meters long) and reaching strength, the hanging basket moves forward (travels) to the position of one section to proceed with the construction of the next section. This cycle continues until the bridge is closed at the mid span.
What project is the form traveler mainly used for?
Long span continuous beam bridges, continuous rigid frame bridges, cable-stayed bridges, arch bridges, etc. are particularly suitable for crossing deep valleys, rivers, highways, and other situations where scaffolding is not easy to build.
How to clean the steel formwork after use?
After each demoulding, tools such as shovels and wire brushes should be used immediately to remove any remaining concrete blocks on the surface of the board. For stubborn stains, specialized concrete cleaning agents can be used. After cleaning, apply release agent and anti rust paint in a timely manner.
What is steel formwork?
Steel formwork is a temporary shell structure welded from steel plates and steel sections, mainly used for concrete pouring projects. It provides a predetermined shape and size for concrete, which can be removed after the concrete has hardened to a certain strength. Due to its high strength, frequent turnover, and smooth surface of poured concrete, it is widely used.
